FutureCOL Zero Fee Scholarship Key Information
In order to obtain and retain the FutureCOL Zero Fee Scholarship, students undertaking either of the programme above must apply for the scholarship and must maintain an excellent attendance record and show satisfactory academic progress.
Bharat Guha, FutureCOL’s newly appointed CEO, was the financial architect of the very successful SIT’s Zero Fees Scheme. Bharat has discussed the Zero Fee Scholarship concept with a number of prominent Hastings Community Leaders being Mayor Lawrence Yule, MP Craig Foss, Councillor Henare O’Keefe and Mr. Des Ratima. There seems to be universal support from the community for any initiative that will assist students into tertiary education in the Hawke’s Bay region. The FutureCOL Zero Fee Scholarship will be dependent on annual funding allocated by the Tertiary Education Commission. There will be 25 FutureCOL Zero Fee Scholarships available for 2016.
